2-Pack Acoustic Wall Panels – Oiled Oak

Dogberry Collections Acoustic Slat Wall Panels in Oiled Oak are real wood slat panels with an acoustic felt backing — sold in 2-panel packs, each panel approximately 94″ × 9.5″, covering roughly 15 sq ft per pack. The felt layer reduces echo and sound reflection while the oiled oak slats add natural warmth and texture to any accent wall.

Slat wall panels have become one of the most recognizable interior design elements of the past few years — and the reason is simple: they do two jobs at once. The Acoustic Slat Wall Panel in Oiled Oak covers your wall in real wood slats with a warm, lightly oiled golden-brown tone, while the dark acoustic felt backing visible between the slats actively absorbs sound, reducing echo in living rooms, home offices, bedrooms, and media rooms. Installation is straightforward — the panels mount directly to drywall and can be trimmed to fit. The result is a professional-looking accent wall that took hours, not weeks.

Acoustic Performance

The dark felt backing between the wood slats is acoustically engineered to absorb mid and high frequency sound waves — the ones responsible for echo, reverb, and the "hard room" effect in spaces with tile, concrete, or bare drywall. Acoustic slat panels are not a substitute for dedicated soundproofing, but they measurably improve the acoustic comfort of a room and make voice, music, and TV audio clearer and less fatiguing.

Installation

Panels mount to drywall using construction adhesive (such as Liquid Nails), screws or finishing nails. Panels can be cut to height with a miter saw or circular saw. For a full accent wall, calculate your square footage and divide by 15 to determine the number of packs needed. See our guide: How to Install Wood Slat Wall Panels.

Available in three other colorways: Charcoal/Black, Smokey Oak, and Smoked Oak. For curved walls or archways, see our Flexible Fluted Wall Panels.
